moving...

well, it's moving weekend and i am already sick of it. this time around seems to be a little easier - things stay a little more organized over 1 year than over several. last night cat and i got some pizzas and had a packing party. some of our friends came over and boxed up the kitchen for us and then carried a full load of stuff down to go in jon's truck. it was awesome having that extra help and it was a much needed boost to our morale to get moving on things! jon has been MAJORLY helpful, too...he's just one of those get-things-done guys, and that's just what we need right now.

my room and my bathroom are packed and emptied. i am transporting car loads today. most of the kitchen is done, and the living room is very close to finished. then tomorrow and sunday we focus on getting the big furniture pieces moved to their respective future locations.

and on thursday morning we turn over the keys and that's the end of that! it never gets easier OR more fun to move, but it is exciting to keep moving forward with life.
