well, my friends, it's been busy to say the least in the week since i've written. pretty much every day i want to write, but i end up so worn out that i don't bother. it's bad news.
some events of the past 7 days include:
my boss went to africa
i wrote a sermon and preached at 2 services
cat and i organized a GIANT mall of america scavenger hunt for the kiddos
i found out that someone i care about enough to get involved has found themselves in a very messy situation involving trying to help a stranger who then took this person for almost all they had...many, many thousands of dollars
i ordered my candidacy guidebook and filled out an interests survey to get moving along on the ordination process
i am working on writing a musical of sorts (or a play that incorporates music) for/with the kids about the prophets of the old testament told through present day teenager eyes
i'd really really like to get my poetry manuscript done in february
annnnnd....that's more than enough, i insist.
the photo is jon with myma, whose family are our friends...no matter how hectic, i must admit that life doesn't get much better.
